Riverside estate planning lawyer Dennis M. Sandoval will be speaking to over 150 lawyers from across the nation at the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorney’s 25th Anniversary Spring Conference in Las Vegas from April 25 – 30, 2018. The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys is a nationwide membership organization of lawyers who focus their practices on estate planning, elder law, trust administration, probate and conservatorships. Dennis will be speaking to the estate planning attorneys at the Academy about life care planning and the use of a geriatric care manager in the estate planning or elder law practice; and planning for persons with disabilities, especially through the use of a Special Needs Trust. He will also be leading a panel discussion of attorney talking about the proper review of an existing trust to determine if there is a need for it to be amended or restated for changes in family circumstances or changes in the law.
Dennis served as the Director of Education for the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys for over 15 years and is now their Director of Education Emeritus. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Special Needs Alliance, the Southern California Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Riverside County Estate Planning Council and the Riverside County Bar Association Estate Planning and Elder Law Section. He also serves or has served on the Boards of Directors of many local and regional charities with missions dealing with disabled persons, the elderly, and advancing education.
Dennis has been an estate planning attorney in Riverside, California for over 20 years. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a Southern California Super Lawyer. Dennis is the only attorney in California who is a Certified Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Specialist, a Certified Tax Law Specialist and a Certified Elder Law Attorney.
